Nursery/Guest Bedroom

If you are just starting out and your plans include starting a family, why not turn the room into a nursery in anticipation of that first little one arriving. If your kids are grown, the room can be a bedroom for your in-laws, parents or any other guests who may stop by for a visit.

Play Room

Rather than have the kids scattering their play things throughout the house, you could create a place that is their own special area. Decorate it with shelving and bins for toys, a Lego table, and a reading area! Complete it with indoor fort for those rainy days when they can’t play outside. For the older kids, you could put an old television and game system in the room, a music corner, bookshelves, art area, or whatever else they enjoy spending time doing.

Man Cave/Woman’s Refuge

Couples sometimes need time alone to pursue their own interests. An extra bedroom is an excellent place for the man of the family to design a room that is entirely for him and his friends or for the woman of the family to spend on her hobbies. If the room is large enough, you could place a room divider down the center and turn it into a place that serves as a getaway for either partner.

Home Office

More and more people are pursuing freelance work these days. Having an office that is set aside specifically for work-related activities helps keep work and family separate and provides privacy for those hours you want to spend working. It’s also a great place for you to keep a desktop computer, photo albums, books, and more!

Home Library

Even with e-books being so popular, many still enjoy sitting down with the real thing. Line the walls with shelves, place a large, cozy chair to curl up in and a light. Don’t forget a small table for your cup of coffee or tea.

Storage Room

Many people have more items than they need. Whether you need a place to store holiday decorations or to store your stockpile of extra goods, an extra bedroom can be a perfect place for you to store those extra items.

Walk-In Closet

What woman (and many men) hasn’t dreamed of having a huge walk-in closet? Imagine having a room-sized one that allows you enough space for every item of clothing and all the accessories.

Extra Bathroom

With a little work, you could turn the extra room into another bathroom, giving everyone the chance to get things done easier and quicker.

Workout Room

Having a room specifically for workouts will encourage you to use it more often. You won’t need to clutter the rest of your home with exercise equipment and you can decorate the area with inspirational posters, bright colors and whatever equipment you enjoy working out on.

Dark Room

Maybe you are someone who enjoys the look and feel of traditional film and would love to learn to develop your own film. You could easily convert this room into the perfect place to work.

Customer Testimonials See What People Are Saying

“Although we have given this project a rating of 10 in all areas, we would like to give our thanks and appreciation to our designer Joel and installer Andrew (and crew) for the excellent job they did in remodeling our bath.  It was truly a pleasure working with them from beginning to end."
