When our clients in Newark, Delaware approached us for a kitchen renovation, we set out to make the room design more practical with a newer and more stylish aesthetic. The project featured custom cabinetry, countertops, and appliances, with finishing touches taken care of from the tiling to the plumbing fixtures and beyond.
Custom Cabinetry & Countertops
We installed custom cabinetry that helped us create a more intelligent kitchen design with storage dispersed throughout the room. Inset Beaded Prescott Maple white cabinets by Decorá were used throughout the space. To maximize functionality, roll-out and tilt down trays were included in certain cabinet designs, along with trash can and spice rack pull outs, tray dividers, and Lazy Susans. A microwave drawer was installed as well for added convenience. Hardware by Top Knobs adds an elegant touch with easy-to-use cabinet handles in varying shapes and sizes.
A slab of Sucuri Granite was hand cut and fabricated by our in-house manufacturing team in Newark, producing entirely custom countertops that were laid over the cabinets. Bar stools were placed alongside the breakfast bar, which also featured granite countertops, providing ample space for guests to sit while the cook is at work. Plus, there’s plenty of room for food preparation as well as home décor items with extensive countertop space in all areas of the room.
To add texture and visual interest, we installed tile for the floor and backsplash. Horus Art Cristalli Ecru tile was used for the backsplash, while Lint Rajasthan black tile was used for the flooring.
The Plumbing Fixtures & Appliances
Our remodelers also installed all the finishing touches, making sure each fine detail was taken care of for a ready-to-use room design. This included state-of-the-art Electrolux appliances—including an oven, stove top, refrigerator, and dish washer. Plumbing fixtures were installed as well, with a beautiful Danze faucet included for an easier cooking and cleaning experience.
